  • 01. How to assemble the SYNC?
    Step 1: Rotate the monitor supports 90 degrees clockwise. After that, slide them to the center position of the top handle bar

    Step 2: Attach the SYNC Controller to the handle by using hexagon screws M3x35mm and battery clamp. Adjust the SYNC Controller so that it is parallel with the side handle bar. After that, using the allen key M3 to tighten the screws.

    Step 3: Attach the Li-ion Battery to the clamp

    Step 4: Plug the Power Supply Cable into the Battery Output Connector. After that, plug the 4-pins connector into the Power Input Port

    Step 5 (optional): Mounting the Wireless Video Link on the monitor support by using hexagon screw ¼-20

    Step 6 (optional): Mounting the Monitor on the monitor support by using hexagon screw ¼-20

    Step 7 (optional): Plug the power supply cable for Wireless Video Link and Monitor (if needed). Connecting the HDMI cable and other accessories (if needed)

  • 02. How to connect the receiver to gimbal?
    Step 1: Plug the SBUS cable into the SBUS Port on the SYNC Receiver

    Step 2: Plug the other SBUS connector into the SBUS Port on the gimbal

  • 03. How to configure the gimbal to work with the SYNC?
    Step 1: Turn on the gimbal (Please see details in the Gremsy Gimbal User’s Manual)

    Step 2:
    Connect the gimbal to your computer via Mini-USB cable

    Step 3: Launch the gTune 1.0.0. Select the COMx -> Click on Connect Button.

    Step 4: Select Control Tab -> Click on SYNC -> Click on Write Params Button.

  • 04. How to power the SYNC?
    Plug the Power Supply Cable into the Battery Output Connector. After that, plug the 4-pins connector into the Power Input Port. Power on the the SYNC by pressing the power button.
  • 05. How to turn on/off gimbal motors via the SYNC?
    Single press on the Mode button will turn on/off gimbal motors.
  • 06. How to change gimbal operation modes via the SYNC?
    Double press on the Mode button will turn on Lock/Follow mode
  • 07. How to align the SYNC and the the gimbal after pan drift?
    Press and hold the Mode button, then move the SYNC to align with the gimbal. Release the Mode button to control gimbal’s movement.
  • 08. How to setup auxiliary channels on SYNC?

    Beside some used channels to control gimbal movements, there are 3 free channels that you can use to trigger your camera by the SYNC. You can check them in AUX menu.

    Now select a channel to explore its setting. For example, select channel 6 setting. The following is brief explanation about channel’s parameters, all of them can be adjust by using the navigate button under the LCD display.

    • Reverse: press left/right to change the direction for channel’s response (Normal/Reversed)

    • Trim: press left/right to adjust the value. It likes TRIM on your RC.

    • Limit Left & Limit Right: they are something like the endpoints for each channel on your RC

    • Exit: back to the AUX menu

    The things above just described about the setting for each channel. Now, how do you use it?
    In the photo above, the first item of this list is Control. When you select it, you should be navigated to the screen where the signal value of the channel will be displayed.

    You can navigate left/right to switch to other channel, in the above photo, it is channel 6.
    By using Up/Down stick, you can control this channel, the same way with what you do on the RC stick. And when you press and hold the center button, it will return to zero.

  • 09. How to calibrate accel SYNC?

    Here is calibrating accel procedure for your reference:

    Step 1: Put the SYNC on the table, the display looks upward (check the pictures below), then go to Calib screen and select desired calibration. In this case, you should select Calib Accel.

    Step 2: The SYNC will ask you to confirm that you understand the process and accept to calibrate the IMU offset. So, keep the SYNC stand still and hit Yes, then wait for few secs until the process is completed.

    Step 3: Go back to select Calib Gyro and do the same process. Finally, power OFF -> ON the to reset the SYNC.

     


  • 10. Do I need to configure any parameter for the SYNC module?
    Users do not need to configure any of the SYNC parameters. Before sending to customers, SYNC is ready to work without further adjustments. gTune only offers the function to activate SYNC for use.
